The first equipment arrived at MPS2 Tema port expansion project
On 20 December 2018, the first STS (Ship-to-Shore) and eRTG (Electronic Rubber-Tyre-Gantry) cranes have reached the waterfront of Tema Port. This shipment marks the beginning of the transformation of the site into a container terminal that should be operational as of June 2019.

Deep sea port in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria
On 8 November 2018, the consortium formed by Bolloré Ports and PowerChina International Group Ltd won an international tender to build and operate the future deep-sea port at Akwa Ibom in Nigeria. Their main task will be to develop and operate the port over a period of 50 years, alongside the Nigeria Ports Authority, the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Akwa Ibom State.
