The Autonomous Port of Abidjan establishes new records for productivity in container handling

Abidjan Terminal, the operator of the container terminal of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, has achieved record new levels of productivity in container handling by reaching an average of over 100 movements per hour, on three occasions.
The first record was set on last December 21st, with productivity of 110.22 movements per hour. The bar of 100 movements/hour was exceeded a second time on January 6, 2016, with productivity of 106 movements per hour. Finally, the Abidjan Terminal teams again achieved productivity performance by reaching 120 movements per hour last January 11th.
Abidjan Terminal is thus improving on the quality of service delivered to its ship-owner clients, by considerably reducing the length of the vessels' transit time dockside. A determining competitiveness criteria which facilitates consolidation of the position of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan.
