Conakry Terminal participates in the 12th International Fair of Bamako

Bamako. 18 January 2018

For the second time, the Port Autonome of Conakry and Conakry Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, participate in this trade fair organized by the malian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIM) from 13 to 29 January 2018 at the Parc des Expositions in Bamako. The objective is to spread awareness of their port services to the Malian economic operators.

This 12th edition of the Fair International Exhibition of Bamako (FEBAK), is a great opportunity for Conakry Terminal to show the Malian operators its port handling services and the importance given to the safety and security of goods during the passage too.

At the inaugural ceremony, Conakry Terminal was honoured to have His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, President of the Republic of Mali visit the booth.

In line with the vision of the Managing Director of the Port, we want to established Conakry’s port, as a hub for the hinterland countries such as Mali. We also want to demonstrate the facilities granted for the transit of goods to the Malian economic operators.

"Since 2011, when the activities of Conakry Terminal began, great progress has been made in terms of equipment, port infrastructure and staff training", explained Fodé Diaouné, communication and sustainable development manager of Conakry Terminal.

The aim is to continue this depth transformation in order to raise the container terminal to the rank of the most successful terminals in West Africa.
