Conakry Terminal has obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system. It was issued by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services.

For the past seven years, Bolloré Ports has been engaged in a programme to develop Freetown Terminal, for a total investment of 120 million dollars. After two years of extension work, Bolloré Ports has commissioned Freetown Terminal’s new port facilities on August 29, 2018, thus meeting its deadline commitments.

Congo Terminal accelerates its development to achieve operational excellence
Congo Terminal recently signed a licensing deal to implement Navis’ flagship N4 operating system. Following Dakshin Bharat Bridge Terminal (DBGT) in India, Congo Terminal is the second site operated by Bolloré Ports to choose the N4 system. Its implementation will improve the terminal port capacity while reducing operating costs. By increasing its operational efficiency, Congo Terminal aims to increase national traffic and develop transit to the sub-region.

Meridian Port Services has drawn its first $100 million from the project financing package arranged by the IFC to continue the port of Tema extension works
Meridian Port Services (MPS), the joint venture between Bolloré Transport & Logistics, APM Terminals and the Government of Ghana through the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority (GPHA), has drawn its first $100 million from the project financing package arranged by the IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. This funding will enable MPS to continue the future deep-water port of Tema extension works before it goes into service in June 2019.

Abidjan Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, achieved a record level in May by handling 47,000 TEUs, or more than 661,000 tonnes of goods thus achieving the best performance in its entire history.

Tuticorin Terminal (DBGT) acquires the new Navis N4 terminal operating system
Bolloré Ports, through its subsidiary Tuticorin Terminal, recently signed a licensing agreement with Navis to provide its new Navis N4 terminal operating system. This system will equip the container terminal of Tuticorin and will increase its productivity by optimizing its operational efficiency.
