Bolloré Ports signs a concession agreement to manage the first terminal dedicated to the automotive sector in Egypt
On December 19, 2019, the consortium composed of Bolloré Ports, Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha signed a concession agreement with the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone with a view to building, equipping and managing a ro-ro terminal at Port Said in Egypt.

Mombasa Container Terminal CFS begins export handling services
Mombasa Container Terminal (MCT) has been licensed to handle export cargo as part of its Container Freight Station (CFS) services. This service is a first in the industry and primarily targets regional exporters. It is developed to address the current challenge of shut outs where containers are left out of assigned shipping vessels. This can be a result of the short acceptance time for vessels to be loaded, or due to procedural delays in the export process.

Timor Lest port project voted Best Public-Private partnership in Asia-Pacific by IJGlobal
At the IJGlobal Awards ceremony on 28 March, the future deep-water port in Tibar Bay in Timor Leste was voted Best Public-Private Partnership in Asia-Pacific. The distinction underlines the scale of the investments made in the project and the economic benefits that it will generate in Timor Leste.

Bolloré Ports launches construction of future Tibar port in Timor Leste
On August 30, 2018, Bolloré Ports kicked off the construction of the future Tibar port in Timor Leste in the presence of Arão Noé Amaral, President of the National Parliament, Taur Matan Ruak, Prime Minister, and Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, former Head of State and former Prime Minister. The ceremony took place on the 19th anniversary of the country's referendum of independence. As of this date, three years of work will be necessary to transform this greenfield into a new, highly competitive port.

CARENA increases its capacities and consolidates its leadership
The Compagnie Abidjanaise de Réparation Navale et de maintenance industrielle (CARENA), subsidiary of Bolloré Ports and the SOFIA Group, just acquired a 3rd dock, enhancing the operational capacity of West Africa’s biggest shipyard. With this new dock, CARENA is increasing its hosting capacity by over 40 %.

Port of Owendo: Inauguration of the new multipurpose terminal
Mr Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the Gabonese Republic attended the inauguration of Owendo’s new multipurpose terminal (New Owendo International Port) on Saturday, 14 October. Under the State authority, Bolloré Transport & Logistics and Olam have joined forces to develop and operate the terminal.

Congo Terminal continues to invest with the acquisition of two new STS gantries
The acquisition of the two new gantries will be able to load and offload ships with a capacity of 16,000 containers. Added to the four existing gantries, they will significantly improve productivity at the Port Autonome de Pointe-Noire. The new equipment will help to address the requirements of international ship owners and Congo Terminal’s commercial partners.

Timor Port:
On Friday, June 3, took place the official signing ceremony of the concession contract for the new port of Dili, between Bolloré Transport & Logistics and the State of Timor Leste, in the presence of the Ministers of Transport Mr. Gastão de Sousa and Finance Mrs Santina Cardoso, and the Minister of Planning and Strategic Investment, former Head of State, former Prime Minister and independence leader Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão.
